🚉 From Chennai Central Railway Station to SRM IST (Potheri)

    • ⏱️ Travel time: 60–75 minutes

  • Suburban Train

    • 🚆 Take an EMU from Chennai Central / Chennai Beach Station to Tambaram.

    • 🔄 Change to a local train towards Chengalpattu.

    • 📍 Get down at Potheri Station.

    • 🚶 SRM IST is a short walk or auto-rickshaw ride from the station.

  • MTC Bus

    • 🚌 Board an MTC/SETC bus towards Chengalpattu or Mahabalipuram via GST Road (NH 45).

    • 📍 Get down at SRM College / Potheri bus stop.

  • Intercity / Outstation Bus

    • 🚌 Government buses (SETC, TNSTC, KSRTC) and private omni buses traveling via GST Road (NH 45) provide direct drop-offs at SRM University / Potheri.

    • 📍 If your bus ends at Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT / Kilambakkam), the campus is about 13–15 km away.

    • 🚖 Travel onward by cab, auto, or MTC bus (20–25 minutes).
