The Student & Young Professional Activities Committee (SYP) of IEEE Computer Society MGAB is responsible for promoting membership activities within the Computer Society to specifically address the needs of students and young professionals globally through initiatives targeted at advancing their knowledge, development and careers.
IEEE CS SYP Global Congress is the largest gathering of SYP members of the IEEE Computer Society in the calendar year. Started in 2021 as a virtual event, the congress was held in Sri Lanka last year making it the largest onsite event of the society in the post covid era. The congress provides the ultimate arena where like-minded techies and volunteers gather up, looking for new paths, experiences and opportunities. This will be a one-of-a-kind experience where interaction, innovation, and inspiration will unite, empowering everyone to shape the future of computing. The congress will consist of events under multiple pillars catering to; Students, Young Professionals and Women in Computing.

No. The IEEE CS SYP Global Congress 2023 is an open event where the senior IEEE members, IEEE members, non-IEEE members, and undergraduates gather to experience networking, knowledge-sharing sessions, and much more activities in the event.
Located in Malaysia, Universiti Tenaga Nasional Putrajaya Campus will host the Congress this year on the 2-4 of October 2023.
To experience the event physically as an in-house delegate, a payment will be charged from each delegate chosen. But it is free of cost to watch the event through our 24-hour live stream and experience the event virtually.
IEEE CS SYP Global Congress 2023 comprises not only technical sessions but also activities that enhance your soft skills, and the opportunity to connect with other delegates who have got the same interest as you.
Registrations are done through our website and are open to any eager individual. Since we take only a limited number of individuals as in-house delegates we encourage everyone interested to register asap.
